Gili Trawangan is one of three islands. The others are much more quite and for couples. Gili T is the party island with no Police, so you can do what you want. Went out on our first night and went to "Sama Sama" which means welcome in Indonesia. It's a reggae bar with loads of westerners in there. Offered mushrooms everywhere i was, so annoying, but not as annoying as how often they call me long hair. They call me 'hey long hair, long life, long banana'. Funny at first but now it's just annoying. There's just one round that goes around this small island. This road shares pedestrians, bicycles and horse and carriage. We hired bikes and rode around the island, only took an hour at a very slow rate as we couldn't go fast as people were walking in front of you. My arse was in bits by the end. Did mushrooms too which was fun, as we got to chill around some Australian girls villa while we spaced out on mushrooms. Glad we became friends with these Australian girls and one of them works in insurance and shes helping me with my case with the insurance. Did two dives here which were amazing, got to see some sharks and loads of marine life. The visibility here is just so good, we could see a good 25 meters arounds us. Best of all we got the dives for free as they didn't even ask for the money. kyle wanted to just pay them but i said i shall blag it and see what happens. I'm my father son, thats for sure. Still haven't heard anything. And we even went out with all the diving crew after our dives and nobody said anything haha. Saved ourselves £50. Our homestay here was pretty nice, had our rooms ect but there was so many cockroaches in the bathroom. I must have killed at least one a day.
