We went to these thermal baths in a nearby town called Santa Rosa en Cabla. Basically, its a waterfall and they made a few pools which use the natural water from the waterfall and they pump boiling hot water in the pool. It was beaut, dipping once we had just been in the cool waterfall. We did this at night so you can appreciate the warmth of the thermal pools. Bus to Cali from Bogota was very picturesque but one long as journey. Once we arrived, we made friends with this Mexican guy from our bus as he could speak English and so we shared an Uber with him. Bogota is Colombia's capital city and it is much colder here. So the jeans, hoody and coat came out. I actually felt under dressed as it's a massive student city. I hadn't planned to go Minca but our aussie friend Jimbo told us about this really cool hostel with huge hammocks looking over the whole of Santa Marta and parts of northern Colombia. The options were either trekking up to this hostel on really bad terrain for 3 hours or pay to get a bike up for £5. The best decision was the bike as it was like dirt biking.
