Well it is 4.00 and I’ve just walked into the airport and it is packed , more people doing online bookings.,takes near on an hour to check just one bag in.
Today is my first solo journey overseas so I’m bit nervous and when I get to security it doesn’t get any better. I walk up to the feet on the floor , I smile a the camera ,wait for the gate to open but instead this security person asks me to come with her. We go over to another counter they rescan me and the all ok is given ,now this has never happen when I travel with Shirley.
Cruising now this delay means the gate is opened and I’m boarding straight away find my seat and before I can sit down these people are asking to swop my seat with there friend ,someone had left it to late to get their seat,it was full plane, of course I changed .
“Ready for take off” , won’t be long now or will it , “two people are getting of the plane we must remove their luggage before we take off “, 1 hour later we are in the air.
The plane makes up time , we arrive in Dubai late but with time. My ownly problem is there is boarding gate number on my pass so it takes some time to find out where to go. Eventually I get there and the rest is history ,smooth flight arrived in Zurich at 8.15 pm which is 4.40 am Aussie time.
Does not take long to get to the motel, nice but not great.
Well I done that, tick it off, I’ve flown across the world solo and survived.
Now as you can see I’ve had trouble sleeping so this is the third time I’ve type this , but hopefully this one will work.
