Started with a quiet morning, sorting out my washing and then drove to Carindale to have my nails done. Got a lovely sparkly blue colour with sime nail art on one a couple.
Met Michael, Jacqui and Johnny for a Steak lunch at the Pineapple hotel. We then headed on to Southbank and had a drink overlooking the river. The sun was shining for the occasion too! Next, we headed to the Hoo Ha bar for another drink and I finally found a beer that I liked enough to have a pot; the Dainton Choc Orange Porter. Lisa was proud of me! It tasted like a Terry's Dark Chocolate Orange - Yum! I also quite liked the Newstead Badger Fuel Red Stout which was light, fruity and creamy. A customer jumped on the piano too and played some Jazz while we drank.
We moved on to the Queensland Museum to 'The Science of Beer, Wine and Chocolate'. Pretty cool.
On the way home, we stopped for cake at Mr Fitz and then bumped into some of Davin's colleagues at Tipplers. We stopped for a night cap and Lisa had an exciting two beer cocktail, dark on top and golden at the bottom.
