I started the day with a 1 mile swim at the local outdoor pool in Coorparoo. It had a lovely atmosphere, was warm and the sun was shining.

Lisa had to work today so I caught the bus to Southbank. I went around the Maritime Museum, using an audio guide to navigate HMAS Diamantina; the last surviving river class frigate. I then crossed the Goodwill Bridge and had a walk around the Botanical Gardens. I headed back over the bridge, explored the riverside and found a spot to read the new Harry Potter in the sun before Lisa met me for a few drinks after work. That may have turned into a few more... Another awesome day in Australia!
