Our road trip started today, first to Spokane where we admired the Spokane River and Falls. The riverside park was beautifully set out with walkways alongside the river and falls. We set off from home on the morning of May 13th and had four flights - to Auckland, to LA, to Oakland outside San Francisco and then to Spokane in Washington State.
