We spent Sunday morning wandering around the Indian Markets - they stretch way beyond the Plaza so we walked a fair way. There is so much beautiful and innovative jewellery, pottery and other arts to look at. There are also Indian Dance groups performing which is interesting to see the different costumes and stories they depict.
On Monday all evidence of the Indian Markets were gone and things were back to normal. This meant that we could get our trolley tour of Santa Fe - a look at the historic buildings around town and the arts galleries along Canyon Road. We saw some fantastic sculptures and wooden vases in one gallery. Once we got back to the Plaza we went to the historic fajita cart and ale lunch-big beef or chicken fajitas for $5 each.
Sadly it was time to leave Santa Fe and New Mexico and drive north into Colorado to stay at Durango.
