Day 12 - we’re in a little town called Azofra which is still in the region of Rioja where lots of wine is produced. Wine is only 2 euro 50 a bottle but it comes free with the special 3 course dinner for pilgrims.
The countryside is lovely rolling hills of grape vines all beautifully tended and the sun has shone all day so a good day. The poppies are coming into their season which is lovely and the storks nests are a feature of this part of the world. I’m really enjoying the different wild flowers and birds. We’ve heard a lot of cuckoos on our travels. Lynn you were quite right that was a pic of the ever flowing fountain of wine but it was 10 am so I didn’t indulge honest. Love to all from Spain xxx
