Had another 6 hours hours drive on day 3 to Denver, Colorado. Crossed our first time zone, very strange driving along then having to turn back time. Getting pretty good at managing to fall asleep in any position in the bus, think Kar must be sick of my face, squashed us against her, drooling! Had a look around the city centre in Denver, actually choses not to shop and visit the library instead (the internet)! So good to stay in a hotel, I appreciate it so much much more now. Went out for diner with the group and then out to a couple of pubs. There are only 5 of us that are over 21 and able to drink, only 3 of us and the tour leader stayed out. Went to a celtic bar and each corner had a different theme, the Scottish corner was awful, Robbie burns room with cuban cigars. There was a good Welsh corner which Sam (who is Welsh) was raving about. had a couple of drinks in there and Sam managed to get absolutley wasted! Found a pub who were having a Beer Pong competition. Beer Pong is a cracking drinking game, but is taken very seriously in the USA. Can't wait to teach you all it when I get back! Kar and I tried to get ourselves a game but the players were having none of it.
