On the 31st we took the coastal drive to Sydney - it was really nice some moutains to go over as well. We headed over to Palm beach to sample the best fish and chips Neen has ever had. And boy he was not wrong!!! We ate our fish and chips on the beach - this beach is where home and away is filmed We then headed to West Head which has panorama views over whale beach and plam beach. Beautiful. We then headed off to stay with Sarah, a lady we met on the Northern Thailand tour who very kindly let us stay for 3 nights.

On the 1st we headed off to Sydney to do some touring - both got our haircut first - bushy heads!!! The train into Circular Quay was fab - get off the train and there is the bridge and the harbour. We went off to wander around the Rocks and had our lunch in the Lord Nelson - mmmmm very tasty steak sandwich. We then headed up onto Observatory Hill to get a great view of the bridge. We took the Ferry out to Manly to get th view of the habour as well. Then we wandered down George Street the main shopping street - Jacqui really liked Sydney. That night we headed out on a research night with Sarah and her flatmates - its Sarah and Emily's birthdays soon. So drinking in Surrey Hills was on the cards.

On the 2nd we all woke up late and with various hangovers We headed over to Tongario Zoo which was great - its very funny to see a giraffe with the bridge in the background. That night we had a thai take out and watched a DVD
