We left Kimberley with another 5 hour drive to get to our final african destination Jo'burg. We had a very quiet afternoon and a lovely dinner out with Jacqui's Mum and Dad. It was named the last supper - well for 6 months anyway 9th saw Jacqui and Neen say bye bye to Jacqui's Mum & Dad and Africa after a wonderful 2 months. Today we flew over to Bagkok via Hong Kong.

Another tough drive today - 5 hours to get to Kimberley. The raods in africa are so quiet though - in 120km's we passed 15 other cars on a majour road. The country is so vast. Once we got to Kimberley we headed off to the big hole to see how dimaonds were found over 100 years ago. The hole is massive in size and has given the world hundres and thousands of diamonds. On the 5th we set off to Graaf Reinet which was about a 4 hour journey. Again this is a very quaint little town with some of the original old Camdeboo cottages from the victorian era - i think !!! We headed off to the Valley of Desolation which gives you stunning views acorss Graaff Reinet and the mountains - these views just keep coming! We had a nice meal out at the Drostdy Hotel that night. On Sunday monirng we headed off on a 3 hour drive to Matijiesfontein (pronounced Mikeys-fontein for those tryin) This is such a small little town literally it has one street with one hotel and a train station. It a very victorian little town lovely to stay in. We had a nice night here.

Well it has been an eventful last two days We headed off to start our two day hike over Table Mountain. Our first obstacle to overcome was the peak traffic at 7am in the morning over to Silvermine - part of the Table Mountain national park. We made it to the entrance at 8.05am!!!
