On the 20th we headed off to meet up with Chris Bailey and family who emigrated to Aussie 3 years ago (We both worked with Chris in the NHS).? They live just north of Brisbane in a lovely house.? We had a great dinner - Nita did us a sunday roast we were very happy

On the 21st the new pool was being installed at the house so we caught up on a few things and planned the next part of the travels.? We did however fit time in to go and have a look at a number of show homes in North Lake - Jacqui wants to know when we are filling in the forms to move to the sun.? It is meant to be autumn here it has been over 20 everyday!!!!? We just have to persuade the families to come with us

On the 22nd we headed off on a day trip with Chris.  First stop the quaint town of Montville - all the buildings are very traditional and we had a great coffee overlooking the valley and the sea.  Then we headed off to a small seaside town called Mooloolaba - white sands and nice walks on the beach.  We also had a lovely burger for lunch mmmmmmmm   Then we went on a beach tour and visited Dicky's beach, Kings Beach and Colandra.  That night we headed off to a traditional curry house - the only one that Chris and Nita have found run by a couple from Wolverhampton - great way to finish off the day.

On the 23rd we did a little bit of planning for our trip and Neen helped Chris with some DIY (He also did some housework for Nita - very domesticated!!!!)  That night we cauight the City Cat to SOuth Bank - Brisbane is a very nice city we both really like it - the quirky beach on the banks of the river is cool.
