Went out with Rachelle, Darren, Matt, Millie and Lexie for Australia Day. Went 4x4ing along the beach from Wallaroo to Moonta; had a barbecue and then on to Balgowan for some swimming and snorkelling. Great day all around!

Went out with Rachelle, Darren, Matt, Millie and Lexie for Australia Day. Went 4x4ing along the beach from Wallaroo to Moonta; had a barbecue and then on to Balgowan for some swimming and snorkelling. Great day all around!

Joined Darren, Rachelle, and Matt in Mintaro for a Mintaro Burger at the Mintaro pub. Mintaro is a historic town just South East of Clare. The burgah contained beef, egg, ham, beet root, lettuce, tomahto, onion, and sauce. It was HUGE! Very nice patio!

I arrived on January 8 to very warm, dry weather. I met some really nice people on the plane and was very grateful that Geoff, Ben's dad was there to pick me up from the airport to take me to the car for my first drive (on the right-hand side) out to Clare, our home for the year. After unpacking and madly cleaning and inspecting the house for critters, I headed to bed after not really sleeping for almost 30 hours.
