Thursday, July 17, 2014: We awoke to chilly morning in the desert of Coober Pedy and got ready for a busy day touring around Coober Pedy and seeing all of its odd and unusual sights. Saturday, July 5: We ended up sleeping in a bit late and so didn't get out of Clare until about 11:00. We had a long drive ahead of us if we wanted to make it to Coober Pedy, the Opal capital of Australia and also the land of mystery where people just go missing for no apparent reason!
