We weren't feeling too smart this morning after last night's tipples with Yosh but we plodded on and headed for our ferry at 7.15am in Thongsala.
In desperate need of a good night's sleep we were sat falling asleep at the dock waiting for our typically late ferry to get in.
We both crashed and barely felt the passing, arriving around 9.30am changing onto a surprisingly swish coach - air conditioned with comfy seats, not at all what we were expecting!
Jacq passed out again as Matt took in the scenery and we got to Krabi for around 12.30pm. A minibus took us straight to the hotel- Andaman legacy guest house, taxi was only 50 bhat each (£1) and the hotel seems well situated right in the town and only 600 bhat a night (£12).
We stroll off for a pizza at the "New Born " cafe - foods gorgeous and it's a stone's throw from our place, they freshly bake the pizza and garlic bread - well worth a visit. Heading back, we crash for a few hours and wake up around 6pm booking a trip for tomorrow called the 4 islands at 550 bhat each including transfers and lunch.
We decide to get some nibbles and check out the local night street market down the road which only offers local freshly made food dishes. It's fab, the smells are so inviting, food is cooked on the street mostly using bbqs and with small burner stations stir frying pad thai and egg rice. Matt orders chicken noodles Jacq salt and pepper chicken rice, each dish is the cheapest we've seen yet at 45 bhat. The hustle and bustle is great - lots of food lovers from everywhere sat on the street tucking into some fab local cuisine.
We head back stuffed and tired for an early night.
