Well what can we say! Carnarvon is lovely and sunny with crabs aplenty and bowls for the man any day he wants!

Friends we met last year in Coral Bay met up with us here and stayed nearly two weeks. John and Kolenda live in Myalup (south west WA) and had been on the road about 5 months. We had a great time with them. Allen and John went crabbing a number of times and always managed to catch a nice haul. Allen taught John how to bowl and John enjoyed joining in on the caravan park games (they have a bowls green here) and mixing with the other bowlers. They tried their hand at fishing but no success on the jetty. The day however was beautiful and we all enjoyed the walk on the jetty. and the warm sun and clear blue sky.

John and Kolenda have gone home now and today we have been joined here by more friends, Gordon and Jan. We have just over a week to go here. Allen bowls in the Wintersun carnival this week so not much crabbing will be done. He bowled in the scroungers bowls today and got second. We both are as brown as berries, thanks to the lovely weather.

It is going to be hard to go back to suburbia, cooler weather, and a HOUSE!!!
