Sunny Carnarvon, great for boating, bowling and soaking up some rays. Allen has been busy not only bowling but preparing the green for the games. He is on the committee here at Wintersun Caravan Park for the bowls and is kept busy most of the week. We do, however, take time to go out on the water for some crabbing, and what a great day we had yesterday, the crabs were huge and we got 21 of them. The caravan park tenants are enjoying our catch. We were crabbing at the bottom of the main street of town so when it was time for my hair appointment, Allen dropped me on the beach and I walked to the hairdresser, then afterwards, back to the boat for more crabbing, so funny eh!

The first bowls carnival finished with Al not on a winning team. We had the presentation for the winners on Saturday night which turned out to be a Christmas in July dinner. We had a lovely dinner and a fun night. On Tuesday morning we attending a morning tea fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation. I won a box of bananas which I will collect as we leave here and take to the tin lids in Kalbarri when we visit on the 26th August.

Allen is bowling today here at Wintersun and tomorrow he is bowling in the town club. He has a couple of tournaments organised with others to bowl in town in the next couple of weeks. The next carnival here at Wintersun isnt until about 14th of August, although they play every day for bars of chocolate or Tim Tams. All in all, we are enjoying our stay.
