Into the packing up early this morning. Thankfully some done last night so only two hours or packup today. A little tricky packing the car because we didn't have food in it on the drive up from Melbourne but did have to include about 8 bags of groceries for our stay on the island. Lets just say I'm none too confident about the chances of anyone catching dinner! Off to Rainbow Beach to drop off the camper trailers, then on to the barge for the 15 minute crossing to Fraser Island. Kids (big and small) super excited. High tide when we arrived meant we couldn't drive on the beach but had to take the inland track. Whilst we remember it being in worse condition 13 years ago, it was still pretty rough. Arrived at our accommodation at about 2pm, time for a super quick unpack, burger for lunch, then a relax by the pool for the afternoon. Everyone in bed pretty early again tonight.
