Horvats USA 2017
French toast and bacon to start the day (for those who doubted I needed so much bacon!). Off to the Eumundi Markets, kids very eager to rid themselves of their money. Xander bought a "USA Submarine" watch and spent the rest of the day telling us the time, a couple of bead bracelets and a print of a vintage car. Leggie splurged on her first "real" artwork and some jewelry. A couple of dresses and a necklace for me, Marcus was very restrained only buying a belt. Three and a half hours well spent! Afterwards we headed to the Noosa Marina for a coffee. Marcus toyed with the idea of buying an Akubra...I toyed with the idea of buying some Birkinstocks. Lets just say we both came to our senses before anyone got hurt. Back to camp to start repacking as we head to Fraser Island tomorrow. As we're not taking the camper trailers that meant reorganising what is packed where. I also had to do some more shopping and strategic food planning, as groceries are (understandably) very expensive on the island. Noosa treated us to a magnificent sunset tonight, and we were joined by Julian, Janine and their girls for drinks whilst the kids spotted stingrays from the beach. Perfect night! Up early tomorrow, we have to be packed and off by 10am for the two hour drive up to Rainbow beach.
