Well that was an interesting 48 hours. Myall Lakes was beautiful, but also windy, noisy and smelly! We had 90km/hr winds overnight and during packup which made things interesting, including an airborne gazebo causing damage to three panels of marcus' car. The"eco" toilets had some sort of mmalfunction so that not only did they seriously stink worse than any drop toilet ever, there was also an alarm constantly going off. Everyone enjoyed a good sleep in and a relatively unplanned day today. Big fry up provided by Corey & Justine and then a short rainforest walk. Early 6am start, packed and on the road by 8am for the 8ish hour drive to the Myall Lakes National Park, just outside Bulledelah in NSW. International Year of Roadworks made much of the Pacific Hwy drive very frustrating, but by gees the trip will be great once the freeway upgrade is completed. SeaWorld! Much quicker to get in thank goodness. All the usual shows attended, animals admired, junk food eaten. Xander and Allegra both convinced to go on the Storm Coaster and Jet Rescue rollercoaster. Marcus convinced to go on the Viking Flume (the only ride he'll go on is log rides ending in a flume). Movie World today. Otherwise known as "Lesson in patience". We queued for an hour and 15 minutes just to get in. I know it's holidays in all three states, but that's just ridiculous. We expected to have long queues for rides...and we did, mimimum of an hour for most rides.
