Ungodly start this morning...up at 3am for a 4am departure. Off to Albury for the day as the camper needed a few modifications (reinforced canvas, tropical roof for the kids rooms, extra battery fitted, anderson-merit plug converter for the solar panels). Have to say it again...the Mountain Trail Campers are amazing). Seeing the floods on the way up was amazing. Meanwhile we spent the day buying last minute things (including Pokemon cards - apparently a necessity), picnic lunch beside more flood waters, Frisbee buying and generally killing time. Picked the camper up at 4pm and back on the road to Yass,. Quick stop at the Dog on the Tuckerbox as Xander has been learning avout it at school. Arriving at 7pm, fantastic chinese dinner and everyone was happy to be in bed by 8:30!
