You can't come to India without any restless bus journeys and it makes your next sleep that much sweeter! I got into a drizzly Munnar scoping tea plantations with my sleepy eyes, in need of a cup of tea and biscuits. I made it to the hotel Dan was staying in, got a room and crashed.

Slightly refreshed we decided to go on the hunt for a waterfall amongst the mist and tea plantations. The beeping of vehicles was relentless as our trek to the waterfalls was along a busy mountain road. Unsuccessful in our little mission, a selection of chocolates and a good book in a peaceful spot over looking the town taxed a couple of our precious hours.

An early morning departure was on the cards, as the direst road to Kodaikanal was closed, therefore having to go a slightly longer way around…
