Fantastic day. Caught the ferry across to liberty island and it was amazing to see the statue up close. The museum was very good explaining how she was constructed. We then went to Ellis Island. It was here that all immigrants had to pass through on arriving in New York. We stood in the hall and imagined my two great uncles probably came here after their voyage. After strolling lower Manhattan we finished our final evening of the trip with dinner at Hard Rock and a toast to an amazing adventure!
