Today we drove from Washington to Philadelphia. The largest city in Pennsylvania had a lovely skyline as we drove in. First stop was the Rocky steps (I confess we did not run up them as it was so hot we were working up a sweat walking). We then walked through the JFK plaza where it was lovely to see people enjoying the fountain. We walked on to the old city where we visited Independence Hall, the site where the declaration of independence and the constitution were drafted, and saw the Liberty Bell. This was another easy city to walk and navigate and we had a really lovely day.
