Really good day in Washington but it was hot! We walked down the road past the White House to the Washington Memorial and then to the Lincoln Memorial, I had not realised but there is a large statue of the president inside. A great drive today from Abingdon to Washington. We drove through the mountains which was very scenic. It was amazing weather changing between sunshine and thunder storms with the temperature reaching 30 degrees then dropping to 20 degrees then just as quickly back up.
