It's currently 02:30am here, I am in ved ready to go to sleep having watched the final of the World Cup.

Our flight from Zanzibar was delayed, but not by long, we were waiting to get on the plane whilst people were still getting off of it.

I've cleaned up my foot this evening and it's a lot less painful now. Some of the spikes were removed, then papaye juice was rubbed on them in order to bring the spikes to the surface of the skin and draw them out. The spikes that were left in my foot (as seen in the photo) are slowly dissolving. Apparently you just have to leave them in the wound, and as they're only calcium they dissolve on their own.

Arnold's mum picked my second bag up from the airport! Yay! And everything was in there. I unpacked it this evening and repacked it with all of my stuff for the orphanage.

It's been about 28-30℃ in Dar and Zanzibar, however, I've been told that Arusha is a lot colder, so i've packed leggings and fleeces. Being optimistic, ice also packed some shorts. Hopefully it's not too cold. My flight is at 11:35am and it takes just over an hour to get there, it's then approx. a 3 hour drive to the orphanage! Time to sleep for me I reckon.

Hopefully there will be a nearby internet cafe and I can keep the blog updated. If not, I am now returning on Thursday 24th July, (as there were no other flights) and shall updated the blog then.

I am really looking forward to the orphanage! And have thoroughly enjoyed myself so far. Everyone is so friendly and happy here, it's so lovely to see... Makes you realise how grumpy and miserable people are back home! They're also very chilled and laidback, probably too laidback for my liking, but I am definitely trying this while chilled approach.... It's been difficult as I've had bad luck this weekend, list my baggage, missed our ferry, stepped on a sea urching... All in three days! Right off to slrep for me. Leaving at 08:30am for the airport!
