This morning we went for breakfast then headed down to the marina to get on the SV Whitehaven.
The boat was nice, it was a sail boat which was cool cruising along with the sails up. There were about 20 people in our group and everyone was really nice which was good as we were spending 2 days quite closley!! Made friends with 2 girls from Newcastle, Amy and Jen and Irish girl Rosheen a girl from London called Sarah, and Irish guy called Steve and an English guy called Gary.
The first hour on board we were all just chatting, getting to know each other then we stopped for snorkelling. As it is stinger season, we had to out in the very attractive suits. Went over to the beach on a speed boat and went snorkelling. It was quite cloudy today apparently compared to usually but still saw lots of colourful coral and fish. It is quite funny because Kat is scared of fish so she kept clinging on to me. We saw a huge turtle that was cool but then we saw a stingray so I moved away from that quite quickly!! It wasn't untill we got back on the boat that Mason (our host) told us there are reef sharks there as well and he had spotted one when we were all in the water!!!
After snorkelling we sunbathed on deck and chilled out then had dinner. We had chicken curry and it was delicious. That evening we all sat around playing games and had a few drinks it was a really funny evening. Me Kat Amy Jen and Gary decided we wanted to sleep on deck so we went and got our blankets and set up beds. It was sooooo nice, I have never seen so many stars in my life, the sky was covered and they were really bright I also saw 6 shooting stars which was cool. It was so peacfull and really relaxing.
