Got the Oz bus to Magnetic Island today, our driver was training so we had two, Forest and Steady. Forest was hilarious, really crazy. He sang for most of the journey well tried to anyway. There were some really nice people on the bus today which was cool.

We got to Base which was the name of the hostel. It was massive, there was a huge bar area with loads of decking outside, you then went down about 2 steps and you were on the beach, it was really cool.

When we fot there, Steady took some of us out Sea kayaking which was good fun but also quite tiring, me and Kat kept surfing the waves onto the beach which was fun but we always had a bit of trouble getting back in. Everytime we tried, we capsised!!

That evening we just stayed at the bar in the hostel as it was so nice, had dinner and a few drinks with everyone from the bus then it was karioke!! enough said!!

The next day we chilled out by the pool all day, we were on the beach but it is stinger season at the moment so you can only go in the sea if you are wearing a really attractive stinger suit!!Had a really relaxing day then an early night as we wanted to hire mopeds the next day.

 Got up early and went and hired mopeds. We just drove around all day, it is a very small island so I think we saw all of it. The beach where our hostel was is definately the nicest. We had lunch and went out again. It was good fun.

 The next day we just chiilled again on the beach and by the pool. Magentic island is beautiful but very quiet, there is not much to do in the evening so we are moving on to Airlie beach on Wednesday and doing our sailing trip of the Whitsunday Islands on Thursday which shoul be cool
