We got the bus to Airlie Beach today, I don't know why it is called beach as there isn't one, it is a bit like Cairns with a huge lagoon swimming pool. We checked into Koalas which is the hostel we  have been recomended.  It is really nice, massive again.

We didn't get there until about 6pm so we went to the Oz sail office to check in for our sailing trip then went out for dinner and a few drinks. Airlie is a lot more lively, there are loads of bars and clubs along one road.  We were planning to have an early night but we ended going to a club called the Juice bar as it was ladies night and free champagne!!!

 We were stil fairly sensible as we were going on the boat the next day and didn't want to be ill.
