We got the plane to Perth via Sydney at 9am, we arrived about 4pm. Christian a Danish guy we met in NZ was with us so we all went to find a hostel. Everywhere was full but we finally found availability at the Planet Inn. We arrived and got served by a very strange man put our bags down went out. The hostel was disgusting, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months and everyone in it was really strange.

We went round looking for other hostels and found a really nice one that had availability from Mon, so booked that then booked another one called the Old Swan Barracks untill Monday. We then went for a wander round the City then for dinner but eventually had to go back to the hostel!!!

We checked out ASAP and headed down to the new hostel. It seemed a bit better but still not great. That day we went round the shops then in the evening we headed over to Kings Park to have a BBQ. Christian had been having a go at us for ages because of what we eat (basically anything easy like 2 minute noodles or beans on toast) so he said he wanted to cook. We had steak and veggies and it was gorgeous, we also took some wine.

The park is really nice and overlooks the city so we chilled out there untill about 11pm then headed back to the hostel. When we got back people were having a party in the courtyard so we went and joined them for a bit.

Next few days chilled out waiting to move to a nice hostel at last. I now have been eaten by bed bugs just to top it off so can't wait to get out of here in the morning.
