Day 54

We stayed at the camper till 1, then went into Palmer to run some errands and check out the Visitors Center. Had delicious pizza at Humdingers, drove around town and surrounding countryside, then back to camp.
We were taking a walk around the campground when four little girls on bikes came circling around us, screeching to a halt right in front of us, saying
"Stop!, fashion police, you are being given a fashion citation". "Wait, I said, I have these cool fingerless gloves, isn't that fashionable?"
They said "you are ok, but you need more color, color is really in fashion now"
"I do have a colorful scarf," I said, so they let me off with a warning.
Then a couple of them posed for me and let me take their picture.
To Michael they said "we are going to have to put you in fashion jail unless you pay this 3 dollar ticket". Then one of them peeled off a ticket from her handlebar and gave it to him. He said, "what? I don't have 3 dollars"
She replied, "then 1 dollar"
He said "no, I'm not paying you anything"
To which she replied "where do you live?"
He said "we are just visiting, we aren't staying in this campground"
She slowly followed us on her bike, saying with a smile, "ok, I'm going to follow you until I find your camper" Haha! It was all in good fun, they were so cute, telling us their fashion tips. They left us alone after they saw another fashion violator and they took off to catch him. We did walk on past our camper though and didn't go back to it until that little she-gang was out of sight!
We are having the most hilarious experiences, I love it!
