After the MotoGP at Silverstone, the next 3 nights were spent in Northampton. This was our make and mend time - get the washing done, read a book, repack the suitcases - not very good at this! Back in the UK, again! This time we have dropped our bike at the Triumph Dealer in Ipswich to get the 'glitch' repaired. We have hired a Ford Focus for the next three weeks. We took the panniers to Felixstowe, packed them in their boxes and picked up our suitcases. We then headed off to Milton Keynes for the next three nights. After the Ulster GP we returned to East Kilbride for another 2 days. Greg cleaned the bike, got the chain tightened and rested up. We had talked about going to Northern Ireland for the Ulster GP earlier in the week but had made no bookings. Greg however had done a bit more research and we decided to catch a ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast at 3:30pm on Friday 7th.
