Leaving the wonderful view our next part of the journey was quite disappointing. With not a lot to see we just headed southward until we arrived at South Bend where we found a Fish and Chip van. The owner arrived and was keen to know if they were as good as the British fare. Well, they were good in there own way but I would choose chippy chips and day.
Arriving in Long Beach we found our hotel for the night and headed out for a walk around. In the space of an hour we saw the World's Largest Frying Pan, the World's Largest Pair of Chopsticks and walked partly along the World's Longest Beach.
My dream shop "Scrapaccino" also happened to be here!
Tomorrow we explore the peninsula before crossing into Oregon....
