We really didn't want to leave Cozy Cottage as it had been just that, very comfortable and full of exciting reading material!
A tour of Whidbey Island was on today's agenda but us early birds were too early to catch the worm as Coupeville (our first stop) didn't open until 10am. Heading south to Langley gave the locals time to surface and open a coffee shop just in time for our arrival. Whidbey Island's towns remind me of Murder She Wrote and Cabot Cove, gorgeous little sleepy places but luckily for us there have been no murders, well done we're aware of anyway!
Back up to Coupeville where the place was buzzing after this morning's sleepy hollow. The beach was the next stop before catching the ferry to Port Townsend which is our stop for tonight.
We've had a superb big fat ice cream, seen a dog guarding a motorbike and although Nick promised not to camp dance for the whole trip ... Well check out today's photos!
