Yesterday I met up for a quick drink with Andy who I met in Wellington who is in Melbourne for his sisters wedding - was nice to meet up again, even though we had only met the once a few months ago! Was quite embarassing because I didnt recognise him when I went to meet him and sat down next to him without saying hello and he just though I was being rude!! So apart from doing all that I have been chilling out in my lovely house and chatting loads to my housemates who I get on really well with so thats all good! We have planned a road trip (me Ben and Nittin) along the Great Ocean Road, the Grampians National Park and to and old gold mining town called Ballarat. I am so excited about that, we will get a car for 4 days and see loads of sights, chill out on the beach and go surfing/body boarding and a few walks! Thats on 23rd Feb, then on 27th going on a day trip to Phillip island to see lots of sights, a wildlife park and penguins at night! I'm going to stay there 2 nights but Ben is coming back to Melbourne then the next day heading off for New Zealand. I will then be heading off for more backpacking adventures up the East Coast on probably 5th March so will be in Sydney for my birthday yay!! Have planned lots of nice walking and beaches, got a 3 day surf course, paid for before I left UK, and some cultured stuff for Canberra (the captial!) So will get to Brisbane 31st March/1st April then Andy is joining me on 3rd yay!! Then we have a month in Queensland - have no idea what we are doing yet but there's plenty of time of course! Wow, am up to date and it only took me nearly 2 hours!!!!!!!! I have just got a new digital camera so can put photos on here for my next adventures, but nothing before then probably as it takes a while to fill a memory card and there's not loads to take pics of at the moment!!
