After Church we zoomed up the motorway (well, Matt did, I slept) in beautiful hot sun.

We made a quick pit stop in Lancaster to visit the beautiful Max (and his parents) and finally made it in to Sedbergh just after 7pm.

Coming over black horse hill was so exciting, and Will kept shouting out where things were. Some friends have very kindly lent us their house for the week, so we could take a holiday. Will is a little disappointed that they aren't here too, but easily distracted with the fact that he plans to go to the river and climb the 'mountain' (Winder fell) this week.

We're looking forward to a lovely relaxing week, even if the weather is exactly as I'd remembered it - we've had to use our fog lights for the first time in over a year!
