It's the royal wedding, and whilst we could stay home and watch it, William and Kates get to ride trains for free, and we all know how much Will loves a train...
So we're heading into Oxford on the train to visit auntie Caitlin and go to Science Live and the Pitt Rivers museum, but first we stopped at Aaron and Daniels house and ended up staying for lunch, having a lovely time playing with them.
On the way to the station we passed through a 'wedding free zone' where apparently the whole village had opted to watch the 1966 world cup together instead. How patriotic?!!
We had a lovely time on the train, and a nice walk through Oxford. Will absolutely loved the museum of natural history, but didn't really enjoy the Pitt rivers museum. It was all a bit dark and a bit to crowded for his tastes.
Then we met up with aunty Caitlin, had a look around the colleges where she lives, and went for a gourmet burger. Yum!
Home again on the train and a nice sleep in the car (for everyone except daddy!) and off to bed. A lovely way to spend the bank holiday!
