Australia zoo was fantastic. We went to the Crocoseum to see the wildflife warrior show which featured birds, snakes and crocs (obviously). The zoo was really big and extremely well looked after. I also patted a Koala and fed an elephant yay! It was so nice to see all the Steve Irwin tributes too and the atmosphere there was so friendly. I want to go back lol. Live in Noosa and work at the zoo - what a dream!

We arrived in Brisbane on Tuesday afternoon and went to the worst hostel in the world. It smelt like damp, looked like a prison and I am convinced that they had bed bugs urrrggghh. We were there 20 mins before I said I didn't want to stay there and we left hehe. We crossed the road to City Backpackers which was $3 more expensive but soooo worth it. Dani Jane and I have done lots of walking around the city and have visited the City Hall, The Lagoon, The Southbank, The Theatre, The Library and two museums. I have spent the rest of my time job hunting. There are a few jobs out there but so many people are looking for work it is really tough. I am going to try the hotels and the posh side of town tomorrow and have an appointment with a recruitment agency on Monday morning. Fingers crossed. I moved into a new apartment this morning called the hub. $130 a week which is really good and Mel, Pearl and I are going to buy food together so that will be good to save some money. Even if I don't get a job atleast I am trying to save as much of the money I do have as possible.

The main problem I have at the moment is that I have really hurt my foot. I don't know what I have done but a guy told me yesterday that he thinks I have broken my metatarsal (how ever you spell it) bone. Hopefully I havn't and the pain will just pass. I can't afford to not walk on it eventhough it hurts. If it gets worse then I will go to the doctors but hopefully it will get better. Even if it is a broken bone there is nothing they can do and an appointment at the doctors in $60! Its a frustrating pain that is the worst thing.

Right I am off for a walk to hand more cvs out. Wish me luck.
