I absolutely loved it, yes. I can understand why people fall in love with it and become skydive junkies. To be honest, once you are out of the plane it isn't scary at all. xxx

Well Gem, your face says it all, you absolutely loved it didn't you? I have to say it looks very scary though. xxx

Just had my blog fix for the day. It will be a great record of your whole trip - perhaps writing a book when you're home will make you rich and famous! Can't wait to see the kayak photos. I knew you would enjoy it. I'll book you in to the Ravens Ait when I next visit Kingston.
Mixed emotions I'm sure, now that you're on the last leg. C U very soon! AML Mum xxx

Yes we got all the gear as part of the package and we definately needed it. I know I do hehe that was not my intention but the night was very good fun. It was only plastic and I lost it after an hour hehe. Love you mum xxx

To use a well worn word the glacier pics are just AWESOME! Like the gear (I assume you hired it?!). What a great experience. You look like a kiss-o-gram in the PC outfit tho... but it must have been fun! Not sure I'd argue with you with that truncheon in your hand. AML xxx

Oh my god gem! love the pics of the neighbours set! wow!!!
Still looking nice and tanned i see! I agree with Si, would happily settle for 14 degrees right about now! weve just had more snow today causing more disruption, so over the snow now! keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing you soon! xxx

Hi Gem, onto another country from your itinerary and from what I have heard from my cousins who are living in NZ at the moment, you should love the New Zealand experience too. I think i would settle for 14 degrees after our temperatures of late but balanced against the Australian warmth must be a bit of a shocker! Enjoy the tour & catch up with you soon. Love Si x x
Gemma
Yes it definately would. Great weather, beaches are close, the city is as nice as the suburbs and its the home on Oz sport. Just got to NZ and it seems lovely too. Christchurch is the home of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. I am tempted to get a shirt hehe. They are only $80 which is about 32 pounds. They are 65 at home i believe? x

Thank you for the update on your blog and all the pictures. Melbourne would be your choice if or when you return to Australia I feel. Hope you have a good flight to Sydney and onward to N.Z. Onward and upward to the next adventure - Enjoy!!
