Aaron and Debra arrived at the house about 2pm and we had a BBQ at the house. It was yummy and was really nice having everyone together. Woke up at 6am this morning to catch the 8am ferry to Rottnest Island. The weather didn't look too good but we were hopeful. When we arrived at Rottnest Alisha Aaron Debra and I hired bikes to cycle around the island. We saw a Quokka (only found on Rottnest) and some great views from the island. Got up bright and early yesterday to go to the AQWA - Western Australia's no.1 Aquarium. I saw some great varieties of fish and sea life and got some fantastic photos. They have a walk through tunnel there where sharks, stingrays and turtles swim around you in 3 million gallons of water wow!. I have never been through one of those before and it was brilliant. I felt as though I was swimming with them.. except I wasn't getting wet or more importantly eaten eeeek! ...

It was horrible day yesterday so I spent most of it reading my Australia book and making notes which was good. I should have done that at home but it's great I had time to do that yesterday. I marked down all the places I wanted to see and things I wanted to do. Once I had done that I realised how quickly these 5 months are going to go ahhhhhh! I read in my itinerary that my 3 day trip around Ayres Rock involves two 8km walks... Check me out with all my exercise....
