On Tuesday we said good bye to Alf (thank you very much for having us!) and we left Roturura with Becky and Nan. We drove towards Tauranga where Tony lives. We stopped off at a beach near Uncle Tony's and me Rachel and Becky went for a walk along the beach. We found a deserted rope swing and had a play on that for a while, then scrambled over some rocks playing in the rock pools. It was a beautiful day and there was a cool island out at sea which looked nice. We walked back to Nan and by this point Tony had arrived, and we all enjoyed some chips (they didn't do 'blood and guts' which is apparently New Zealand's cheesy chips, mayo and ketcup, but even the NZ woman at the counter hadn't heard of it??)
We then drove round the corner a bit round to Main Beach and had a little walk, and the Tony and Becky had a play in the sea. We then headed back to Tony's and had a takeaway curry and watched a bit of TV.
The next day we enjoyed scrambled eggs on toast and then headed back to Cambridge but via a nice country park, and we stopped off at an animal farm for a few hours where you could feed all the animals and hold some of them. We then went to a waterfall and played on the rocks there for a bit before enjoying a hot drink in a café. We then headed back to Nan's and had dinner and then relaxed in the hot tub.
