Last night I baked the Colston Bun. Great hot out of the oven and even better as toast this morning. The house smelt like Hot Cross Buns.

The Colston Bun will live again in Australia.

Also cooked the Fartes of Portingale (Portuguese meatballs). Also very tasty, however far too few for 4 people. We learned one thing. These are boiled meatballs and if you boil too long, it will release all the fat. If you are on a low fat diet then boil away.
