The Grand Canyon, with its 2,5 Km, multicolored rock walls, craggy cliffs, and sandy slopes, is the most amazing site we have seen on the trip so far. This morning we made our way along to Camelback SDA Church, which is located just south of Echo Canyon Park (Phoenix Valley) - and home to Camelback Mountain. There's not much to write about Thursday, because we spent most of the day driving from Fort Stockton, TX to Phoenix, AZ. The main reason we decided to travel via Tucson, AZ was to visit "The Boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. "The Boneyard" or AMARG (Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group) as it is officially known, is a USAF storage and maintenance facility, which takes care of approximately 5000 aircraft. The aircraft stored at the 2,600 acre facility are categorised as either long-term, or flying hold storage and are kept intact for future use....

This morning we left Will's place (in LA) and followed him to his school to pick up our Fair material that he had kindly minded for us while we were back in Australia.
