Today we're up at a place called Spangle, which is back in Washington State, and the school we're visiting is Upper Columbia Academy. This school is amazing - the grounds are so well kept and the buildings and facilities here are top notch. It's a boarding academy and consists mainly of students from the nearby states of Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Our next school is in Oregon and is about a 9 ½ hr drive from here.

Before we left Walla Walla, we had a scheduled school visit at Walla Walla Valley Academy, which is just around the corner from the University. We were told that there are around 6000 Adventists in the Walla Walla and College Place area, so, much like Avondale, WWU and the other Adventist schools in the area are well supported. Last night we stayed with some friends that Rob worked with at Stanborough School in London during 2006. It was our first night staying in a house rather than a motel since we've been on the road, so it was a fresh change. Today we didn't do very much at all. This morning we attended University Church at Walla Walla University (WWU), College Place, Washington. They have two services here; a contemporary service at 9.30am and a more traditional, or classic service (as they like to call it) at 11.45am. Our school today was just 50km south of Seattle, so we got to have a bit of a look at the city as we drove through to our motel last night. Seattle is such a green city - it's as if it's in one big forest! The school we visited was Auburn Adventist Academy, and it was definitely the biggest fair we have attended so far.
