we arrived at our school on fri morning and they had made such an effort with our accommodation, it was really moving! They bought us blankets, mirrors and built us a tap! We spent friday and saturday moving in, went for a nice long walk and played volleyball with the children! We made friends with the boarders at the school, to the extent where they stood outside our room for 2 hours while we tried to prepare our lessons. Everywhere we went they shouted "Falang Falang", the thai for foreigner.

Sunday we met up with the rest of the AV's for a double birthday party! we had a really nice and chilled day at the house of the scots!! They had made a chocolate birthday cake for us as well!

Monday.. and the teaching starts. We had two classes today the eldest children in the school and it was so much fun, they seemed to really enjoy our classes and can now successfully count from 1-1000, even though we drank whisky for lunch given to us by the headmaster! In the evening the teachers invited us to eat with them which was delicious. They are all so funny, especially the Science teacher who also speaks pretty good english...We are now returning to our room to do our washing up with our two day old water!..
