Test Run
As we travel around this beautiful part of England, through tiny lanes & across vast rolling hills, in pretty villages & bigger towns everywhere there are marvelous dry stone walls. Some are ancient & falling down, some brand new & everything in between. I think they're really beautiful & have tried to capture a few in photos ( surprise, surprise) but going through my head has been a poem I heard on the radio once & it goes like this : I am a dry stone waller All day I dry stone wall Of all appalling callings Dry stone wallings worst of all Thanks to Pam Ayres for a quirky take on these very talented craftsmen.

brycyn Dear Jean, loved Oxford, expected to see Inspector Morse step out of one of the buildings! Your fascination with dry stone walling is justified, I share your love of the beautiful English countryside. Thank you for all the great photos. Love from Cynthia and Bryan. Ps. Bryan is feeling much better now.
