We made tracks south and drove all day to Yeppoon for two nights. The weather was cool and windy so we went for a short stroll along the beach to use up some energy then had an early night. Next morning Ben and I were up early so we walked along the beach into town for a coffee. Once the boys were up and we were all breakfasted we all walked back along the beach to town and went to a park with a very tall climbing frame. As the bad weather started to come in we strolled home and had hot chips for lunch from the little shop across the road. After a rest and some downtime the weather cleared up a bit so we went driving around, exploring the area. It was a gorgeous area and I'm sure in good calm weather the ocean would be spectacularly pretty.
