Today we woke to more drizzly rain but we hit the town anyway! The town is an old and proud railway town boasting a steamtrain museum and some beautiful model trains at all 4 entrances to the town. We drove out to each one to check them out and take a pic! We then went on to the train museum and loved being able to get up close and personal with the beautiful old carriages from different eras, such as the carriages from the first Ghan etc. The kids could even get in the beds, sit at the tables and pretend to shower! We had lunch at a beautiful old theatre converted to a cafe and got to look at lots of historical bits and bobs. Ben patronised the local butcher and pub for the afternoon while we watched a movie.
