We arrived in Streaky Bay and loved it at first sight, the little town was neat and pretty and the big bay was beautiful. We were very happy with our site, right on the bay, next to the park. The boys spent the afternoon playing with kids at the park and on the beach. The next day I did some washing then we headed off in the car to explore the coast. We found a beach out of the wild wind to have lunch and a play and walk on the rocks. I was able to add to my shell collection, collecting heaps of huge, beautiful sea-snail shells. We drove on, stopping at a place called Small Pools where the boys were able to have a safe, albeit cold, paddle. We headed back into town passing by a stunning headland and cliffs. That evening we trundled up to the pub to have a drink and watch the last of the sunset then treated ourselves to a delicious dinner. It was nice to have something different and not have to cook! As we went to bed we still hadn't decided if we were staying or going or in fact where we were going at all!
