In ping an. Longsheng rice terraces. V close to Dazhai. We did a 3.5 hr trek to get there. This bamboo chicken is the typical dish of the area. Bit dry but the subtle burnt bamboo flavour is nice and I love how it's served. Took 4.5 to get back so a good 8 hr day today. Really stunning. Happy to be back in Dazhai. Less people. Real countryside :)

Delicious fresh bamboo in a hostel in Dazhai. Not our hostel. Very delicious. Ginger in it too and garlic. Apparently bamboo is really good for you. Low fat low salt. High fiber. High potassium. High in other great plant elements. Its seriously tasty fresh. And pandas love it and I love pandas :)

This is the map of where we are. Regarding food it was a big travel day so nothing interesting. It was a big Pot noodle day in hostel and snacks on the 7 hour 4 bus journey :) fun though.
